This Friday the 21st at halftime , we are raising money for Christchurch City Mission organization to help make our community a better place for everyone!

In 2016 alone Christchurch City Mission helped…

• Provide over 26,000 foodparcels
• Supply over 8,700 bed nights for men and women seeking emergency accommodtion
• Tackle budgeting issues, with over 1400 contacts
• Welcomed 844 new men and women to our day programmes for companionship and support as well as supporting over 2,356 who we have seen before
• Support 184 young people to confront their addiction

With your help, we can continue to make a difference in the community!

Star players Ethan Rusbatch and Marques Whippy came along to visit the men from the shelter/day programme.

After a quick meet and greet, they went outside to chuck a few balls around and, although the men were a bit weary at first, it quickly turned into a free for all of laughter, joking and great fun. The men showed a sense of team spirit and community amongst themselves. The Rams boys really helped to boost their confidence and this was apparent in their outgoing behaviour.
