Canterbury Rams import Nick Wiggins has been cut before the National Basketball League (NBL) season has even tipped off.

Wiggins, the older brother of rising NBA talent Andrew Wiggins, has been replaced by 1.96m American power forward Desharick Guidry, who was a rebounding powerhouse at McNeese State in Louisiana.

Rams coach Mark Dickel defended the move, days out from their season opener against the Nelson Giants at Cowles Stadium on Friday….
