DAVE 3-0 WITH CHESTER
Dave Langrell has made a promising start to his
season with English club side, Chester Jets. So
far this season the Jets are unbeaten (5-0) in
the main championship competition. Yesterday,
Dave had his best game scoring 18 points,
including 4 three pointers and grabbed 5
rebounds. He has drawn praise from the locals for
his ability to crash the boards (rebounding) and
pass the ball inside.

Director John Watson will be entering a team. The
competition lasts all season long and is easy to

2) Make a team - You'll need to create a username
and password for yourself first.
3) Enter your new username and password and pick
the players.
4) To join the Rams Fans group - Click on the
group directories link and do a search for
"Rams Fans". It a Private group so it
needs a password to sign up "rampages".

BOYD RECEIVES BLUES
AWARD
Promising Rams Forward Boyd Smart
has received a Blues Award at the recent Lincoln
University Blue and Gold Awards ceremony, for his
achievements in Basketball. Boyd has been
studying a Bachelor of Recreation Management at
Lincoln. Boyd's highlight of the 2001 season was
undoubtedly the emphatic Slam Dunk in the home
game against the Saints. He appeared in three
Rams games and also performed well with the
Canterbury Knights.
MARKS PROMISING IN PRESEASON
New Zealander Sean Marks has been
"heating-up" the preseason of the NBA
with the Miami Heat. Continued good play could
earn him a spot on the Heat's roster. His best
game came against the Milwaukee Bucks 13 points,
8 rebounds from 25 minutes of action.
