this season, all packages are on sale direct from
the Ticketek outlet at the WespacTrust Centre and
through phone bookings. 2002 brings a new
shooting guard, new coach and a new style of
play. What more can we say? Come see exciting
basketball like you’ve never been before.
Note: 2001 Season Ticket Holders: Your seat from
last season will be held until 1 February 2002.
This gives you the first right on your seat until
that date.

2. NEW LOGO REVEALED
In conjunction with the 2002 ticket packages, the
Rams have unveiled the new logo for the team. The
Rams Fans #1 Mascot, Rambo, is pictured holding a
ball in the centre. The traditional Canterbury
colours of Red and Black are also brought into
the logo.
3. RAMS JUNIOR CAMP - JANUARY 14-16
The Rambo Chartiable Trust is proud to bring you
the 3rd Rams Junior Camp during the school
holidays. The last camp sold out quickly. If you

4. CANTERBURY SPECIAL OLYMPICS BASKETBALL
– NZ CHAMPIONS
The Rams congratulate the Canterbury Special
Olympics Basketball team that recently won the
national tournament for the first time at North
Harbour. Canterbury defeated southern rivals
Otago in the Semi-Finals, before bettering Hutt
Valley in the final, 23-20. Rams Fans will
remember this successful team as they have taken
on Otago during past two seasons at the
WestpacTrust Centre as curtain raisers to the
Rams games.
The Canterbury Team was: Grant
Ballinger, Megan Davies, Paul Edminstin,
Michael Fleet, Leon Kinley, Tom Pachnatz, David
Reynolds and Tony
Smith. Coach: Al Robson.

6. RAMS IN THE COMMUNITY
Over the past few weeks Rams' players have made
appearances in the Santa Parade, riding on the
Coke float, the Special Children's Christmas at
the WestpacTrust Centre along with Gary McCormick
and Lana Coc-Kroft, and the Riccarton Baptist
Christmas Party.
