The Scenic Circle Canterbury Rams coaching staff last night
announced the squad of 10 that will fly up to Auckland for the
double-header of games to start the Burger King League (National
Basketball League)

Rewi Manahi
Mark McLaughlin
Luke Osborn
Mike Pegues
Kenny Perkins
Boyd Smart
Of particular note is the naming of young point guard Jeremy Kench
who is in his rookie season with the Rams. Kenny Perkins and Rewi
Manahi return to the red & black singlet after stints with other teams
and American Mike Pegues will play two games within 72 hours of stepping
off the plane from the USA!
2. TIM EDMONDS INJURY UPDATE:
The toe that was suspected to be broken, turns out it wasn't. Tim
Edmonds will still miss this weekend's double-header, but may be fit to
play in the Rams home opener on Saturday 3 May against the Harbour Heat,
7:00pm at Westpac Centre,
Addington, Christchurch (Curtain-Raiser:
Canterbury Legends).
