RAMS TO FACE WARMING HARBOUR
Scenic Circle Rams vs Harbour Heat
Saturday 3 May, 7:00pm Tip-off
WestpacTrust Centre, Addington
Featuring Rams: Dave Langrell and American Mike Pegues
Heat: Former Tall Blacks Brad Riley and Brendon Pongia
Curtain Raiser: Canterbury Legends (5:00pm)
Tickets at Ticketek
The Scenic Circle Rams will have revenge on their minds when they take
on the newly renamed Harbour Heat on Saturday at the WestpacTrust
Centre. Canterbury is coming off a tough double-header loss last weekend
in Auckland, and will be looking to get one back quickly on one of their
Northern rivals.
The Heat had a very balanced attack at the weekend, with five kiwi
players reaching double-figures. For the Rams, replacement American Mike
Pegues collected 21 points and six rebounds and Dave Langrell was his
usual all-round self with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and
two steals. Ben Jeffrey started both games for the Rams at point guard
and collected some encouraging numbers, highlighted by six assists
versus Auckland.
No doubt the Rams will be looking for all the support they can muster
from their forever fervent Rams Fans at the WestpacTrust Centre on
Saturday night.
