3. SHANNON PROFIT A TALL FERN
Promising youngster Shannon Profitt has been included in the Tall Ferns (Women's National Basketball Team) for a one-off clash against the University of Hawaii. The team will leave this Friday and return on Tuesday. Shannon is one of New Zealand's most promising prospects leading Christchurch Girls High to national championship titles in 2000 and 2001 and has been a member of the Canterbury Wildcats.

4. SEAN MAKES FINE DEBUT
After making the final cut for the Miami Heat, Sean Marks had his best game in the NBA with an inspiring performance in a win against the Toronto Raptors, 97-92. Sean played in 17 minutes, had 5 points, grabbed a massive 8 rebounds and recorded an amazing 4 blocks! His hustle and determination has drawn praise from Heat coach and NBA Legend Pat Riley.
