  • One of the most consistent and athletic performers for the Rams
  • Brings veteran nuance and leadership from 200+ NBL Games
  • Super-sub: averaged around double figures in points over the last two seasons

  • Holds NBL all-time record for blocks in a game with a spectacular 8 vs. Palmerston North in 2000
  • Began representative basketball career in Timaru with the 2nd division side and Canterbury underage teams
  • New Zealand U20 player in 1988
  • 13 previous years NBL experience: Canterbury Rams 1989, 1999-2001 and North Harbour 1990-98
  • Played alongside current Ram Andrew Gardiner in North Harbour 1991-96
  • One of the league’s iron men despite ankle, knee and back injuries
  • Swatted a career best 1.9 blocks per game in 1994

2001 SEASON
  • Presented with the Rams’ Sixth Man of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions off the bench
  • Brought up his 200th NBL game in the home game vs Titans
  • 5th in the NBL in Three Point Percentage (37.2%)
  • Averaged 8.7 points from only 18 minutes per game
  • Recorded five straight games of slotting exactly two three-point baskets
  • Scored at a point a minute rate (17), grabbed 10 rebounds and got his patented 360 degree spin jump-shot in the home win over Saints
  • Played a crucial role in the fourth quarter comeback win against Nelson with 12 points.
