Qualification Series

This season the New Zealand Tall Blacks will be competing
at the World Basketball Championships in Indianapolis,
USA after the NBL season (August 29-September 8). The
Men’s national team qualified through the Oceania
Zone with their historic series victory over the mighty
Australian Boomers, 2-1 last year. This year the Tall
Blacks craeted more history winning a match on Chinese
soil and beating the Hungary side 4-1 in the Burger King
International Series. Coach Tab Baldwin has announced a
sqaud of 12 for the European tour and World Champs.
